One adapter for every device: built-in WiFi for iPhone, iPad and Android, gold-plated RJ45 LAN for ultra-stable flashing. Pure copper, fully shielded, 2.2M heavy-duty cable.
Most 'ENET cables' on Amazon are just cheap RJ45-to-OBD2 wires. They force you to buy extra adapters, only work on Windows, and drop connection when you need them most. X-OBD ENET is different. Also available on Amazon and AliExpress — same product, same warranty, global shipping.
| Cheap Cable Problem | X-OBD Solution |
|---|---|
| Basic RJ45 cables require a USB-to-Ethernet adapter for laptops, and extra Lightning/USB-C to RJ45 adapters for phones — $30+ in extra dongles | Built-in WiFi connects directly to iPhone, iPad, Android or tablet. Plug into OBD2, join WiFi, code — zero dongles |
| Thin copper-clad aluminum (CCA) wires with no shielding drop signal during critical flashes — one disconnect can brick an ECU | Pure copper + full shielding, gold-plated RJ45, heat-dissipation translucent shell for stable, safe sessions |
| Most cables are Windows-only and won't work with BimmerCode on iOS or Android out of the box | Universal platform support: iOS, Android, Windows, macOS — one adapter for every device and every app |
Wireless WiFi for mobile coding, or the RJ45 LAN port for ultra-stable wired flashing. Best of both worlds.
Extra-long 7.2 ft industrial-grade cable with abrasion-resistant coating — OBD2 port to laptop, comfortably.
Native iPhone, iPad, Android, Windows and MacBook support. No extra adapters required, ever.
Premium pure copper conductors, full shielding, gold-plated RJ45 contacts. Zero interference.
Translucent shell with optimized thermal path keeps the adapter cool through long coding sessions.
Stable 12V OBD2 power draw with voltage protection — wireless that won't drop mid-flash.
Fully certified for safety and EMC. RoHS compliant, lead-free solder construction.
Insert into OBD2 → connect WiFi → open your app. No drivers, no complex configuration.

Angel eye brightness, daytime running light behaviour and turn signal settings.
Auto-close windows on lock, mirror fold timing, comfort access customization.
Finally a WiFi ENET adapter that actually works with BimmerCode on my iPhone. Plugged into my F30, connected to WiFi, and coded DVD-in-motion and lock sounds within minutes. Worth every penny.
Used this for BootMod3 flashing. Connection was rock solid and the flash completed without any hiccups. Much better than cheap cables that drop mid-flash. The 2.2M cable is a nice bonus.
I have a Windows laptop for ISTA and an iPad for BimmerCode. This one adapter handles both perfectly — WiFi for quick iPad coding, LAN for heavy ISTA diagnostics.
Bought a $20 cable first — CCA wire, no shielding, plus a $25 USB-C adapter for my MacBook. This X-OBD unit replaced both and works better. Should have bought this first.
Now in my daily toolkit. Build quality is noticeably better than no-name cables. Heat dissipation is real — plugged in for hours during long coding sessions without issues.
Great adapter, WiFi setup straightforward. Only wish it came with a printed quick-start guide — though the email guide was very detailed. Works flawlessly with MHD on my Supra.
