Frequently Asked Questions

My car is a 2016 model — will ENET work?

It depends on the brand and build date. BMW F-Series (2010+) always works. Mercedes switched around 2016 — W205/W213 yes, older W204/W212 no. JLR 2016 is mostly CAN (except late F-PACE/Discovery 5 builds). When in doubt, check the VIN with our support team before ordering.

What pins does the OBD2 port use for DoIP?

DoIP uses pin 4 (chassis ground), pin 5 (signal ground), pin 12 (Ethernet TX+) and pin 13 (Ethernet TX−). All our adapters are wired to this standard and individually tested.

My car is not on the list — what now?

Contact support with your VIN. New DoIP models launch every year and the list is updated continuously; if your car predates DoIP we will tell you honestly which interface you need instead.
