The OBD2-to-Ethernet cable that unlocked a decade of BMW F-Series coding — engineered to the correct DoIP pinout and tested on real G20 gateways.
BMW moved diagnostics to Ethernet with the F-Series in 2010: the OBD2 port carries a 100BASE-TX connection straight to the ZGW gateway. An ENET cable is simply the correct physical layer for that connection — and it remains the standard tool for E-SYS coding, FDL editing and ECU programming on every F and G-Series BMW.
Because Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar Land Rover and the VW Group later adopted the same DoIP physical layer, this one cable also connects to W205/W213 Mercedes (2016+), JLR vehicles (2017+) and Audi/VW DoIP models — see the compatibility matrix.
